Thanks Bob for bringing some sanity back to this issue. I know so many pediatricians and pediatric nurses begging parents to properly protect their children from childhood diseases once thought to be irradicated. How many children must be blinded, deafened and killed by these medieval fears? It seems we are devolving into the days of witch burnings and abandoning the miracles of modern medical science that protect our lives and health. Thanks for having the courage to address this terrible wrong.

As the coordinator for recruitment at a CTE center in mid-Michigan, I’m always looking for ways to excite students about skilled trades. This kind of national promotion has been needed for a long time. I hope we are not too late to swing the pendulum back to a thriving, skilled, hands-on work force.
